“Far superior to Kermode and Mayo, maybe not quite as good as The Film Programme. Unlike the former, it is compact, accessible, different every week and it's main focus is film. While it never attracts the same calibre of interviewees as it's BBC counterpart, nonetheless it does provide really insightful, incisive critiques of a range of films, both good and bad.
