Intelligent, informative and funny
Far superior to Kermode and Mayo, maybe not quite as good as The Film Programme. Unlike the former, it is compact, accessible, different every week and it's main focus is film. While it never attracts the same calibre of interviewees as it's BBC counterpart, nonetheless it does provide really insightful, incisive critiques of a range of films, both good and bad. It is opinionated and partial - both things which I think some film podcasts sometimes can lack. Peter Bradshaw is always on top form.Read full review »

Love the Dailies double-act with Catherine Shoard and Henry Barnes: short, topical, often very funny, and with some insightful film reviews. Really missing the longer weekly show with the great Xan Brooks and the incomparable Peter Bradshaw.
