Anyone who might be fans of The Bible Geek will quickly realize that Poke Runyon is to Hermeticism what Robert M. Price is to the Bible. Mr. Runyon's erudition is incredible, the topics are fascinating, and he has an admirably warm manner with his guests and callers. To those, like myself, whose interest in the occult is rooted more in a love of history, anthropology, and metaphysics, there is plenty here to fascinate you. I'd venture to guess that the depth of the subject matter will satisfy practitioners as well. Regardless, it's certainly worth a listen.Read full review »

Great and insightful analysis from Poke. I love this podcast as a SR brother from another poke deliver great knowledge without disclosing all the secrets from the brotherhood. The only down side is the poor audio quality, I have to turn up to max to listen while driving. This podcast is great

We all owe a debt of gratitude for The Hermetic Hour. Simply, it is the best, most balanced, most prudent and sensible source of such information on-line. Better than any written/published text I've found. That it is intelligent and funny, too, is a bonus I wasn't expecting. THANKS!Read full review »
