I learn quite a bit here. An intellectually satisfying podcast. Very rich in symbolism which you’ll get interpreted and of course interpret yourself. ClimTe change is real. Topics I haven’t heard much outside out certain circles. Ps opening theme song is beautiful. Thank you.

Terrible Audio. Seems like an easy fix. Would be great if it didn’t sound like it’s coming from a tin can. Email me and I will mix it for you.

The material investigated in this podcast, especially when it comes to historical and biblical debunking, is fascinating. I can seriously take on any debate about religion now and open up peoples’ eyes to how much is hidden from the mainstream. Great for arguments on social media 😂and just super...Read full review »

This is a completely unexceptable recording for our time.

This is an amazing find. The delivery is pleasant, erudite, no juvenile nonsense. At the same time, it’s very far from dry - a must listen!

Poke is a master occult historian and practitioner. These podcasts are informative, well researched, and always a delight.

Been listening to hours and hours of THH for a while now. Would love to know how to become an active member of the OTA.

I am an at-work headphones-listener so the poor audio quality makes this one unlistenable for me.

He’s the professor (you remember the one) that the board hates but the students love and the suits can’t touch him because of his tenure. The kind that would dismiss class on a summer afternoon and reconvene down at the local brew pub. The one who’s classes are oversubscribed a semester in...Read full review »

This is easily one of the best shows on Hermetics anywhere. Other than the loud chirp at the start of each show I give it five stars! Watch out for that hot mic Poke!!!

First off I want to state I have a lot of respect for Poke Runyon for his great contributions to occultism. Even if you don't agree with his conclusions, you have to give him his due for his work in the occult revival. That said, this show often doesn't match the quality of his books and...Read full review »

Used to listen to coast to coast back in the day for pre-sleep dream time material. The Hermetic Hour is much better.

We all owe a debt of gratitude for The Hermetic Hour. Simply, it is the best, most balanced, most prudent and sensible source of such information on-line. Better than any written/published text I've found. That it is intelligent and funny, too, is a bonus I wasn't expecting. THANKS!Read full review »

There are so few good podcasts in this vein. I wish I could like this one, but between the horrible production value and the mumbly grumbly, meandering way the host goes on and on with the never ending titles and initiatory accomplishments of his guests, there's just not much time left over...Read full review »

Anyone who might be fans of The Bible Geek will quickly realize that Poke Runyon is to Hermeticism what Robert M. Price is to the Bible. Mr. Runyon's erudition is incredible, the topics are fascinating, and he has an admirably warm manner with his guests and callers. To those, like myself,...Read full review »
