I just listened to your podcast for the first time and listened to the one on the importance of caring less about your job. It made me cry! For months (and, honestly, years) I have been struggling with taking on too much. Twice I have gotten silly colds that last for 7-9 days because I haven’t been cutting myself a break. I have known for a long time that I need to give less to my job so I have something left when I get home to take care of both myself and my family. Something about what you said finally hit me in a way that my hubby and my mother could not, and I have decided to take on less work starting in January (my current contracts end in December) so that I can achieve the balance I so desperately need.
