Obviously knowledgeable and smart
but I think that the hosts need to spend more time on show-prep. Lots of "and then this one time, this one thing happened and it was really cool but i don't remember exactly what it was". It's like sitting with history majors having a conversation about history. They know a lot, but sometimes that's quite enough. And seriously...Red Riding Hood and Cinderella? really? With all the interesting actual women in history (or herstory, if you prefer) you're going to spend time on fictional ones? I think that pretty quickly eroded any credibility.Read full review »
