The History of Rome, The Next Generation
The History of Rome ended a little over half a year ago, and just like Gene Rodenberry's creation a Briton helms this encarnation of the continuing stories of the Romans in the East. Like it's predecesor, Robin Pierson follows the pace and narration its predecessor. The show started where the previous one ended, with the fall of Romulus Agustulus and the rise of Theodoric as King of all Italians, sealiing the end of the Roman Empire. For those History of Rome-nauts, Robin's decision to take up the mantle left by Robin Duncan back in May with the continuing adventures of the Roman court in Byzantium.
