Absolutely Fantastic
Hello Robin I have a sure feeling that Your voice is going to become a regular sound on my iPod . As a dedicated fan of Mike Duncan's History of Rome I was understandably saddened when we reached the final demise of the western empire and I know very little about what happened to the eastern empire and now I must thank you for allowing me the chance to find out. I can only say what a mammoth task you have taken on and I wish you every success and if you continue in the manner you have started like the history of Rome this will become a classic reference work. Like yourself I am from England and since I have retired I have become really interested in the TRUE HISTORY of the world not the stuff I was taught in school many years ago e.g. dates of battles, kings/Queens etc you know what I mean. At present I am still catching you up I have downloaded all podcasts but only listened up to number 4 as yet. What I am totally surprised at is how do you find the time for all this having two jobs as well but once again I must say well done …the style is spot on as well as being explained in easy way .Read full review »

Thanks, Robin, for taking up the story where Mike Duncan put it down. I wondered how to replace the knowledge and enjoyment lost with the ending of "The History of Rome". I look forward to the next episode. Please keep up the good work.Read full review »
