“I love reading European history, particularly UK history, and my copies of Simon Schama, David Starkey, Alison Weir and others are dog-eared. David brings another perspective and lesser known facts to his podcasts. They are well written and delivered along the lines of Lars Brownworth's podcasts on "Norman Centuries" and "12 Byzantine Rulers", also excellent.
