“This is a really really good podcast. David is a very good narrator and writer. He gets the history across without being dull or repetitive. This podcast is better even than "The History Of Rome" which was my favourite podcast. What is more is that in my opinion this is better than "This Sceptred Isle" currently playing on Radio 4Extra - David tells the history in more depth with more about all the other major players not just the monarchs.
