“Update It’s 2023 and I’m using it and it’s a huge hit. ********I am preparing to teach a medieval history class in Fall 2017 and was looking for resources for for my students. I like to mix up text, podcasts, videos, etc. The History of England and its supporting website have turned out to be one of my favorite finds ever. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. Fun and vastly informative with some really cool cameos to boot! My specialty is the early modern Spanish Empire so this podcast has already helped me to learn a great deal that I did not know about England. If you have any interest at all in history (or just a great story or 70) give it a listen. I had consciously avoided English history for a long while because it's been done to death but in this podcast you will find a funny and knowledgeable guide! ps Working on stuff with David Crowther in the background really helps on all ways.
