What is going on with this NBA Podcast. I'm trying to get back into the NBA, and overall, ESPN does a good job with thier podcasts. This one, being the first week of the season is getting really really dull. The season just started, the excitement should be high, but there is no talk about the games being played. Just today's show is talking to this scout and it's boring the crap out of me. I really wish ESPN listened to the fans (And read the reviews here) about bringing back Frank Dale and Joe Mead to do this podcast. They were perfect, they talked about the games, and the format was great. I mean other than the BS Report, what does Joe Mead do. And Frank Dale produces some podcasts, but a producer can also be a co-host. Just ask Jay Soderberg on the Football Today Podcast. For someone who is just getting into the NBA, or gotten back into the NBA, this is so far a bad podcast. It might get better, and the two stars really is the benefit of the doubt, but I think the only way it will get better is to bring back Joe Mead and Frank Dale. Also, try talking about, oh I don't know, the games being played. Maybe the top plays, the top performers. Don't talk to a scout in the first week of the season.Read full review »

I prefer F&J as hosts... their low-key humour and banter is great for the show.

love how Jason Smith get wild up with things like... Shaq/Van Gundy or Iverson baby attitude.... the best is when he predicts something one day and the next day the opposite happens.... grate podcast listen to it religiously.
