“I have been into horror for most of my life. From Barker,King, Koontz, and Poe among others on the written page to the horror film. Be this the Universal Monsters, Ghost Stories, Slashers, Zombies or otherwise. I love it. The horror community is so open and varied that it's a wonderful thing.
Upon first listen "The Horror Vigin" is a silly idea of two friends with a love for horror subjecting their friend who is not into horror at all to stables of this genre.
It is a simple almost tonuge in cheek idea that Clint, Jenn and Todd turn into podcast gold. From Todd's shock at classic moments I may take for granted and his recalling of the films to Clints unabashed love to watch Todd squirm or Jen explainng the feminist side or these flims. It all comes toghether in a wondeful way. I look forward to each new episode with excitment. It has also made me look at these films in a new way. That is 100% due to Jenn. She brings up countless points from the feminist persipcitve that I in all honety had never thought about. I have since went and purchased Men, Women and Chainsaws. It's gave me a deeper appritation for a genre I already loved. One I don't think I would have had without this Podcast. So for that thank you!”Read full review »
