Long time listener, first time reviewer
Not a week goes by that I don’t recommend The Imperfects to friends, family and colleagues, so I thought it was about time I wrote one here. Hugh, Ryan, Josh, Dr Em and team, I wish to personally extend my gratitude to you all, for the many lessons, laughs, tears, reflections and light-bulb moments I’ve experienced as a listener over the years. Your vulnerability, warmth and humor has encouraged me to approach conversations with others (and indeed myself) with greater empathy and compassion; that’s one helluva gift. Thank you for crafting such thought-provoking and intentional content (catchy advertisements included). Keep doing what you do best!

This is just what I needed! Love where you’re going with this podcast! Great start with Missy - she is such an inspiration & an amazing role model!! (Had to listen to ‘the special two’ as soon as I finished the episode!! 🤣)

I didn’t realise this was missing from my podcast feed until I found it. The concept is great. Everyone suffers mental ill health in some point of their lives. Having voices of inspiration in my earbuds while I complete monotonous tasks is exactly what I needed.

Such a great podcast and I loved the Resilience Project book too. The voice mails of Ryan with the background music playing at the conclusion of the podcasts have me in tears of laughter. He’s such a funny guy! And adds a lot of humour to a podcast which focuses on serious topics. Incredible!...Read full review »
