Takes 15 minutes of banter to get to the first question of the interview. I really like the learnings but as a time poor listener, it’s a bit frustrating. Definitely could do with an edit.

I am 59 and have only been podcasting a short time. People had told me to listen to certain shows, I struggled with all of them. I then seen “the imperfects” show. I have only listened to the first season ( sorry for being slow to catch on ). Thank you so much for this podcast. I have found...Read full review »

Wow!! What a story! I loved the two part series! And still I have so many more questions?!? Like what kind of car does she drive? does she have a life outside of croissant 🥐? I would love to see this story on film! And Hugh must play the iPad guy! Thanks for sharing!

It took a while for me to find content and presenters to which I could relate. Glad I took the effort. Has really helped a lot, and even the ‘banter’ the guys exhibit has grown on me (my own baggage, not their fault).

What a lovely, lively balance between the heartfelt and thoughtful. I have listened and laughed and been genuinely prompted to go and look further. Keep on trucking team - it’s a brilliant show

As a 46 year old woman I never imagined that my favourite podcast would be one that involved listening to three men! But they are in my ears every Monday on the way to and from work, and without fail I learn something new. The guests are always exceptional choices, and they make me reflect, laugh...Read full review »

This is such a great show. The hosts are fabulous - natural, insightful, hilarious. Dr Emily is brilliant. I even love the ads they do for their sponsors - ridiculously funny and actually very effective as advertising! 5 stars from me. Thanks, guys 👏🏼

As in my love for this pod escalated quickly. I dabbled in The Imperfects when I first followed - but it was because I was in lockdown and not ready to listen to anything that alongside it’s interspersed dry humour and light, housed guests who were truly prepared to expose their most vulnerable,...Read full review »

I bought Hugh’s books for my partner … who then got hooked to the podcast and introduced it to me. I love the long intros and the casual conversations that wrap around tough topics and make them feel safe and more accessible.
