“Good show so far: Interesting story, I want to hear more. I don’t mind the narrator’s vocal fry (gravelly sound). But it bothers me that every sentence sounds the same: starts out in a higher volume and gets increasingly quieter and lower pitch toward the end. It’s distracting. I wish one of the producers would tell the narrator to mix up the way she delivers the narration. I used to teach kids public speaking, and this is something we taught them not to do. I’m surprised that a reporter at this level would still need to learn this. I hope it changes, because I do want to continue to listen to the show, but it’s hard to pay attention to the narration when I’m focusing on how it’s delivered.”

“I don’t understand why so many podcast have bored sounding narrators who speak like teenagers. There are so many incredible journalist out there with a clearer crisp voices. There is no need to compromise. unfortunately, there is no way to get around the narrators voice so I had to stop listening.”
