Very helpful.
I have some connection to the region being a third generation immigrant in the US but a lot of what I was told as a kid lacked a lot of context. This show fills SO MANY gaps and helps me understand more about my family, the history of the Americas, and present day. I think it’s great and even with some of the harder content the host manages to move through it in a respectful way with appropriate context, at least from my perspective. Great show, worth listening to.

This podcast, after only a single episode, makes me feel proud to be the descendant of enslaved people. Despite the fact that these stories can be traumatic, Fiona tells them in a way that makes you still feel powerful. #chroniclesofacaribbeanbadgirl #chroniclesofacaribbeanbadman

I love hearing these kinds of stories from my parents and family members...Read full review »
