Thank you for this work. As a Caribbean I find myself wanting to connect more with my ancestry and learn history from our perspective. This podcast is well produced and the research is detailed yet told like a story which brings out rich oral traditions to life. Thank you, thank you. ♥️🇨🇺

I’m forever grateful for Fiona and her collaborators’s works to bring the people of our history to life. As a 2nd gen American, I’m tired of hearing about my history from the perspective of those who know nothing about it. I love hearing these kinds of stories from my parents and family members...Read full review »

I have some connection to the region being a third generation immigrant in the US but a lot of what I was told as a kid lacked a lot of context. This show fills SO MANY gaps and helps me understand more about my family, the history of the Americas, and present day. I think it’s great and even...Read full review »

So happy to hear about the Caribbean. Being first generation American my mom didn’t know her own history or knowledge of her home land but I am so loving the podcast. It helps me to discover who I am as a person and the beautiful culture of the islands

It was also interesting that you didn’t omit the fact that slaves were also kept, as well as sold, by Black people. Although it was a tiny fraction...Read full review »

This podcast, after only a single episode, makes me feel proud to be the descendant of enslaved people. Despite the fact that these stories can be traumatic, Fiona tells them in a way that makes you still feel powerful. #chroniclesofacaribbeanbadgirl #chroniclesofacaribbeanbadman
