“I don't have any particular affinity for French history, but what I do love is a good story and this podcast offers that commodity in spades. Diana is a great storyteller. She is able to plumb the depths of French history and emerge with a juicy tale or untold perspective that is sure to entertain and inform in equal measure. While the podcast is limited to French history, and usually involves Paris and Parisians, a wide variety of topics are covered from the popularization of escargot, to the Olympics, to the horrible fate of a poor man named Dryfus, and more.
