I’ve learned a lot from David Henry’s instructional YouTube videos and it’s awesome to be able to walk around or work while listening to lighting discussions that I don’t have to watch to follow. Keep it up David, shows like this seem hard to find!

Un podcast utile et varié pour ceux qui s’intéressent à l’éclairage de scène / concerts. DMX, équipements LED, consoles d’éclairage, , harmonie des couleurs, lasers - tout y est abordé.

Found this podcast awhile back. It is an awesome source of real world information and not just a sales pitch from a vendor. It has taught me so much about lighting design and fundamentals and doesn’t just focus on how to get geeky with a console. I love the Q&A. I just asked my first...Read full review »

This guy is de-mystifying lighting! David actually emailed me back and answered my specific question about merging the dmx data of pixel mapping with dmx data for motion control for moving head lights! People that break it down like David are a huge need for guys like me trying to design stage...Read full review »

It's a little more on the "tutorial" side than I would have expected, but it feels like he's setting the foundation to explore other topics in the future. I would love to see this show expand into several topics including: - Managing a local crew - Job decriptiosn LD, L1, L2...Read full review »

David Henry shares his knowledge of stage lighting in an interesting podcast. The episodes are quite short, and generally oriented towards the beginner but probably old hands who've been out of the industry for awhile (like myself) will pick up some interesting tidbits of information. I...Read full review »

I’ve been listening to this from the beginning and as an experienced church technician with next to no experience with lighting this has been incredibly helpful already! The show is nice and short and concepts are kept brief. I’m listening to this on the way to reprogramming my first lighting...Read full review »

Hey David, I think these podcasts are very knowledgeable, I scrolled through them, and you really dive into the basics and start scratching on the more advanced parts of Lighting, DMX, programming and more info. Looking forward to more advanced podcasts!
