Reallt great show so far!
It's a little more on the "tutorial" side than I would have expected, but it feels like he's setting the foundation to explore other topics in the future. I would love to see this show expand into several topics including: - Managing a local crew - Job decriptiosn LD, L1, L2 etc. - Tips for working with rental houses He seems hesitant to go into news. I think for the podcast format it's okay to discuss news. That's the difference between a podcast and tutorial. I love having a single source that would give me tips, news, etc that I can listen to while I'm driving/prepping/etc. My one critique is that it doesn't seem like he has a ton of experience with Chamsys, Hog, Or MA. I could be wrong, but so far he didn't seem to know that you can tap tempo on Chamsys etc. which isn't entirely true. If you watch the 40 min of official Chamsys YouTube tutorials, when they discuss their fx engine they show you how to tap tempo. That being said, it's obviously impossible for a single person to have indepth knowledge of every single console and I think he does a good job of giving foundational knowledge thus far.Read full review »
