“A few weeks ago I came across Paul on TikTok which lead me to this podcast and later that night into his inbox to book 3 sessions with him. I’ve struggled with anxiety since I was a child however, at the start of the pandemic my anxiety began to heighten to new levels since I began having a bottle of wine daily. I also began having major anxiety and panic attacks getting into the car even if it was just to go down the street. Eventually the only way I would travel in a car was after some wine. I knew this was a problem so for the last 3 years I have tried to stop but each time I failed and had the panic attack I’d shame myself and think I’ll never be able to travel normally again. After my first session with Paul I noticed a slight difference in my confidence. I will note that I also started Christian therapy 6 months ago which has helped but she helps more with my thoughts only. After the second session I began to notice a much bigger difference. I had been doing breathing exercises that Paul gave me and I even started running again which I hadn’t done in 3 years. By the 3rd session I’ve felt more confident than I had in the last 3 years maybe even longer. The tools Paul has taught me have been life changing. Today I drove myself to an appointment in traffic and on a highway for 2 minutes and I used the shrinking thought method. My husband tried chatting with me and I had to let him know I was doing an exercise. (Bless him he is so supportive) but it truly worked. I never thought I’d have my power back again and I know it’s not always going to be easy but it’s worth it, I’m worth it. Paul has been a tremendous help to me and I’m confident he can help you if you’re reading this now.”
