This guy is fine when talking to everyday people. But when faced with notoriety he becomes a bit of a sleaze bag. Sometimes the sound gets muffled as he inserts his head up the backside of his guest and the producers struggle to pull it out. More hardcore questions and less bum kissing would make...Read full review »

Episode was phenomenal. Immediately went to buy her book. Loved the way Louis positioned his questioning and how she warmed to him and opened up. Fascinating, thank you Louis Theroux Podcast team!

Great listening , thanks Louis

And not in a good way like his documentaries. Just feel like he wants to bring his guests down, maybe his sense of humour doesn’t translate in this way. Had to stop listening

Nile Rogers episode could’ve went soooo much deeper- somewhat disappointing to barely touch the surface, n have him interrupted a few times when he was opening up . Keep trying

Hi Louis I’m an Australian fan and I’m not offended by your bad NZ accent! Hahaha On a serious note I feel very very grateful to you for interviewing Germaine Greer for us. As a 45year old woman, Germaine changed my life when I first read her book in 1997 in my first year of Uni. It was great to...Read full review »

Loui has the ability to extract the information that most of his guests would prefer to keep close to their chests. He is a smart, articulate host with a flair for making excellent documentaries. Love your work Loui.

The first time I realised LT was just another smug, rich, posh boy was when he interviewed Rylan the n his other podcast. So rude and life situations he wouldn’t have a hope of understanding. Now listening to his Germaine Greer ep, and trying to make her explain what ‘wap’ means from her old...Read full review »

Lovely interview with Adam Buxton, it is a breath of fresh air in these chaotic times to hear a sensitive intelligent man figure out his place in the world and carry us with him through his self reflection and humour. And Louis is good too😊

Brilliant episode! So interesting lots. I had no idea about. Makes me want to read her book now! You’re so good at asking the awkward questions Louis!!

When interviewing guest clearly more intelligent than himself Louis is out of his depth because his research seems to be little more than a quick run-down on their Wikipedia page and a handful of YouTube clips. He seemed desperate for Germaine Greer to say something explosively anti-trans but...Read full review »

So great to listen to a the more relaxed, quick witted and hysterical interview style of Louis Theroux. I’ve loved listening to every episode even if I don’t know the person being interviewed. Learning new things every episode and laughing along the way. Thank you Louis!

Louis is wonderful at encouraging honest conversation with complex and interesting people. The Sharon Stone episode was brilliant. She is sharp, intelligent, humble and brilliant and I loved her refreshingly honest perception of Hollywood.

After an uphill start to the pod I absolutely loved this episode. What a woman. She was absolutely robbed of that Oscar for casino and I’m glad it was discussed. I can’t imagine anybody else pulling off that performance. In fact I’m going to watch it this weekend. Sharon stone, smart, beautiful...Read full review »

She is Queen and is a truth teller . She is kind in a world that has been unkind to her.

Interesting interview which kept me glued. She should be able to have any opinion she so desires as it is described intellectually. She must have liked Louie as she didn’t go postal at any stage! Loved this.

I prefer Louis when he is curious and not so judgemental. Found the Paul Mescal interview a bit condescending. Don’t think they should have put the Mother’s interest in Reiki down. Shame, I was looking forward to listening to it.

LT has deepened his intellectual approach to his interviews over the years. I find his vocabulary and turns of phrase a delight. But moreover, I find his ability to delicately tread the line between questioning his subjects deeply and challenging them simultaneously to be unmatched. A true master...Read full review »

I love Louis and have been a fan since the start of his career in the 90’s. I’m not loving the content at present as much as the more interesting underground type content he used to cover. I think there is a place for both- but would like a bit less formula and more maverick journalism.

I really love Louis and there are some great interviews in this series. I miss him interviewing non-celebrities people and the interesting insights that came out of those stories, celebrities are interesting but kind of same-y.

I used to love all Louis’s stuff but all he does these days is interview celebrities (really random ones at that), who I don’t really care about to be honest. I’m not convinced Louis wants to interview all of these guests. Kinda comes across in the tone and enthusiasm! I get it….change demographic, be more relevant to younger generations, promote their latest 30 second song etc… I just think Buxton’s got the edge right now.

A/ It's Louis - He's a legend. B/ A few of the guests were ok. I think Louis has the face for TV, certainly not a voice for radio. He's like a robot speaking! He needs to stick to TV, where we 'get him' rather than venturing into some faceless void.Read full review »
