Ok, not great
I’ve listened to a few episodes now. It’s… fine, but not his best work. Where Louis is interviewing someone who has experienced loss or hardship, he’s great at being able to help the guest open up in a sensitive manner. But far too often, it feels like he’s given up doing anything hard and traded it for cosy, pally interviews with people who've always wanted to meet him. Season 1 interview with Amelia Dimoldenburg aside, this is pretty solid stuff. Not sure what happened in that particular episode, LT sounds like he’s had a few too many coffees and literally won’t let her get a word in, shutting down lots of potential talking points and being a bit weird....Read full review »
