“I came across this WONDERFUL podcast when trying to gauge wether I was in an emotionally abusive relationship and so I was gathering courage to leave it. I had lost sense of what was reasonable within a romantic relationship and desperately needed clarity.
So I searched for the subject of setting boundaries and found The Love Drive.
I feel that I’m still struggling with this topic of identifying abusive partners since I then realized that they present themselves in such a kind and caring costume... Then they slowly try to control and dominate you but with SO MUCH care for you and sometimes so subtly and cleverly done that you have a hard time understanding what’s going on!
So I will BE forever grateful to Shaun for bringing me the perspective that I needed to finally take action. And since then, I listened to all episodes!
Love Shaun’s style of delivering content, the content he chooses and his sense of humor plus funny faces on Instagram too!
I've been out of work since the pandemic so this is the only reason I can’t contribute regularly to his work, otherwise, trust me, I would happily do it!
And I may still do it some day, hopefully soon 🙏 but the tourism industry may be slow to recover. And I’m completely lost about what to do next, but I’ll eventually figure something out! 🤦♀️😬😜
So thank YOU, Shaun, so much for being YOU and for doing what YOU do - I’m such a fan! And although I don’t contribute with money, I’m def spreading the word about your work! Hopefully this will help a bit too ;-)
Oh! Almost forgot!
I still struggle with self-acceptance and setting boundaries but I’ll persist in trying to learn more ... Trying to incorporate your Confidence Course concepts: OWN my power, SPEAK my truth and LOVE my body! So I’ll hopefully also be able to participate in one of your great courses some time soon too ;-)
