On a calm, clear Tuesday night in February 2013, a long line of Irish women in their 60s, 70s and 80s stood side by side on the plinth outside Government buildings in Ireland. These women were survivors of the notorious Magdalene Laundries. 1996 the year the last laundry was closed. My goodness the way society has gotten away with the treatment women in this world. Shocking, heartbreaking and all in the name of god. This podcast will shock you. Easily listened to in a day.

Very emotional to listen too , sadness for these poor women, anger listening to the lies and excuses from the clergy, don’t listen in public wearing headphones , as you’ll find your swearing out loud
