I understand the premise and intention of the show and really love the guests but tbh Justin and Jamie can be pretty cringey. Justin puts his guests on pedestals and genuflects so much so that it comes off as insincere. Jamie misses the point sometimes and talks over Liz who should have a podcast of her own. She brings facts, background, history, references, and statistics while the two dudes bring their opinions. It’s unbalanced when the guests are speaking truths and Justin and Jamie are as they say “learning in real time”. Do the work and come prepared with knowledge not just opinion and your personal experiences. It misses the mark for me right now and I think Justin and Jamie are not ready to walk the walk. It’s dangerous to be perceived as experts on feminism whether or not you dismiss the title. This is what the brand implies with a TED talk to match. I loved loved loved Alok Vaid-Menon.
