“Over the last week or two I've binge-listened to this entire podcast series. It has been an interesting look into maritime history, and is quite engaging.
The audio quality is good and Brandon talks clearly, deliberately and articulately, which means you can easily speed this podcast up to 1.5x normal speed and understand the content. This is handy, since many podcasts either have low quality recordings or the podcasters have some kind of vocal irregularity that prevents this.
At the time of this review, the series is really starting to gain momentum as there are more primary sources. Brandon also seems to be getting his "sea legs" for podcasting, so the pacing is better.
Anyway, if you like history and want something a little out of the ordinary, give it a listen.”Read full review »
