“This books had its hooks in me from the first episode. The subject matter (reincarnation) was fascinating!
The characters were well-developed and the book thoroughly researched. Ms. Carpenter was most skilful in weaving her story between past and present.
The subject was such a welcome change as most books these days seem to be centred around futurist space fantasy. Not that that's a bad thing, but I wish there could be more of a balance.

“This book was beautiful! I laughed, cried and cheered along with the characters. Some say the author sounds robotic but I found her voice to be enchanting and raspy. I think maybe the editing is the reason it was sometimes choppy, but overall a fantastic book!”
