Michter's Toasted Bourbon is a limited release offering that does not come around annually. In fact, since 2014, this whiskey has only been released a total of four times (with the latest being in 2021). We recorded this episode on August 12th. On the very next day, Michter's put out a press release to announce that Toasted Barrel Bourbon would be released this Fall (24') to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first release. We joked throughout the episode about this potentially happening, but now it is a reality so you are definitely going to want to hear our thoughts on this bottle.
