Boring interviews from a sarcastic gawker.
So disappointed. Is this woman really a psychologist or even a professional? Her tone (and sometimes actual words) sound like "ewww, can you believe he did that?" Sarcasm doesn't work with these stories. She is not revealing anything interesting or psychologically based about these killers. She speaks from the perspective of an ignorant gawker. The problem is that she treats these men as sub human. She has decided from the beginning (and tells us) that these men are nothing more than bad seeds. To her they are worthless. Therefore she has no where to go in the interview. We have nothing to discover. I know I'm sounding harsh, but I can't believe this woman sits in the seat of an actual criminal psychologist. The interviews end up being boring, nothing new, because we are already capable of gawking and throwing out sarcastic judgmental remarks ourselves. We don't need a flippant interviewer to tell us what we already know. Maybe these are more for the "Entertainment Tonight" crowd. Also, these interviews have not OVERTLY racist tones, but there's an uncomfortable feeling that these men are probably black and this white woman demeans and almost pokes fun at their situation. Maybe I'm going too far with this comment but this podcast left me with a very bad taste in mouth. So sad in many ways.Read full review »

I really love this. It reminds me of the Serial podcast. Amazing production values.
