It’s a shame there’s only a few episodes. I really enjoyed this podcast.

Dr Michelle Ward, is open approachable and an expert what’s not to love a great storyteller too AND crucially gets straight to the point. The first episode about the man who killed his mother sets the tone. Please do more

I have been looking for new shoes to listen to and am so happy to have found this show and other shows with Dr Michelle Ward. She is so factual, insightful, empathetic and a fantastic story teller of these criminals. Highly recommend!

I like this doctor and her opinion. The episodes are quick though and not a lot of detail but I like hear perspective instead of just an uneducated opinion. I wish there were more shows n more details

I enjoy this podcast, I like the slightly more scientific approach to the killers and I like the format and how it’s presented. Sadly the only season is from 2025 and it’s currently 2022 so I’m wishing there were another severed series for me to binge listen to.
megansawthebirdfly via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 04/22/22
Wish there were a lot more episodes!! This is very original and super interesting. I binged the whole series in one day.

The host has no personality. Doesn’t really cover a lot.
Juliebug1962 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/28/21
To say an abusive man murdering his girlfriend is a ‘crime of passion’ is a disgrace. Karl was a controlling abusive man who murdered his girlfriend, it’s a crime of control not passion. He did not love her but wanted her under his control. To agree that he is not a murder, shameful. Drug abuse...Read full review »

I wish there are more episodes. This provides really solid information about criminal behaviors. I wish the host could continue and create more of these excellent episodes.

The way she speaks about the subjects sounds extremely unprofessional...she’s not clinical at all and basically sounds like she’s rolling her eyes the whole time.
emilyschmemilym via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 03/05/21
It’s awesome to hear a doctor’s point of view rather than an armchair detective’s. She gives her professional opinion and first impression. I love that we are finally exploring why rather than who as that is already solved in this podcast. I wish they made more podcasts like these.
qtpiegamer via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/26/21
I was so excited for the content, but the narrator is continually making excuses, blaming domestic violence/murder victims, and using degrading language towards (predominantly female) victims. Pretty sick and I hope that the producers can address these issues going forward.
Awhalen1227 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/21/21
Episodes very short and didn’t include anything much. I mean you said you were going to tell us why they murdered... but didn’t hear anything like that.
MommmaG9 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/04/21
I love the concept of this podcast and was very excited to listen. However, I have a few constructive critiques after listening. I was hoping for more in depth questioning of the subject. I was very surprised when they did not outright ask the lawyer if he had remorse for his victim. Or if he...Read full review »

It amazes me each time I listen to crime podcasts how astounding they are. But this podcast is an in your ear exploration; specific is the tragedy of Bohn & his girlfriend. Don’t know if I believe Bohn but I once heard a talk on YT that delves into the psyche; how childhood trauma at some...Read full review »

jazzyjjchar via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/11/19
The description of this podcast is misleading. The only psychoanalysis she gave was when she calls the murderer a “bad seed” and a person “only a mother could love” (in the first episode). There’s no way this woman is a working professional. It’s gossip and judgement mixed with bad music. No...Read full review »

I was very interested in this series and particularly the analysis of the individual being interviewed I come from a family with many distortions and just functionalities and I have a son unfortunately who seems to fit some of these profiles I would like to talk to this doctor

Hollow, unpolished. The host has the vocabulary, annunciation and depth of a high school cheerleader. Doesn’t even tell how the perps got caught. No analytical skills. No ability of conveyance. This was a complete waste of time and resources.

Fascinating podcast, true crime done in a new way. Please do more seasons

I read the review, and it sounded exactly like what I wanted: Analyzing the mindset and situations of a killer. What I got, was a woman who used clipped and cropped audial interviews and inserted them in a context that supported the opinion and idea she wanted to put upon the listener. I was...Read full review »

My only criticism is they aren’t long enough and we need many more episodes! Can’t get enough. From Kirsty, Manchester, UK
ManchesterEngland via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 02/11/19
The first 2 episodes were interesting.. but then it got boring after that. She doesn’t really open the mind of a killer like the title says.
kristine💋 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/24/19
Great concept. Great sound quality. What would make this better is telling the story factual first - so the audience can put together their own thoughts/feelings. Then at closing report her evaluation. That would be make this so much better. I don’t like being swayed by opinions. And as she may...Read full review »

To sum this podcast up. All men are flawed and violent. All women are angels and victims. Very patronising. Tired old story. And the narrators must give us their opinions and not allow us to form our own.

This really is great! It’s gets to the point really fast while being really entertaining.

Thanks so much for a very interesting podcast. I’d love to see a second season! It’s incredible how these people try to dodge responsibility for their terrible actions.
