Well Structured & Captivating
This podcast has got production value built in all around. Mario shepherds his listeners through the stories of his guests, interjecting context where needed, and allowing the silence to do the work. I haven't found myself gravitate much towards many running-related podcasts in the past, though 90% of my podcast consumption is done while running, but this show has quickly made it into my regularly scheduled programming. Audio is fantastic by the way—I have a hearing disability, so I tend to shy away from podcasts with background noise, static, etc. but I can hear everything clearly and crisply. Whatever Mario's set up looks like—it's a good one! Oh, not sure if this is by design, but the show jumps right into the meat of things, where other podcasts tend to have some type of pre-amble or sponsorship shout out. I rather like it!Read full review »
