Cheery futility from the Labour wasteland
I'm just about old enough to remember the white heat of the Social Contract, the direness of British Leyland and endless strikes. So I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would wish to live under a Labour government. However, I do enjoy Helen and Stephen's cheerful political commentary and insight: it's always interesting to look at things from a different point of view. I very much appreciated the collaboration with Talking Politics and would absolutely LOVE it if you debated with the Spectator. Keep it up folks! Hope that wasn't too depressing.Read full review »

This is a great politics podcast, made so by the two stellar hosts. Both Helen and Stephen are knowledgeable, smart, witty, openly but not uncritically lefty, and don't take themselves too seriously.
