Great for young people
As a young person with an interest in politics (14), I really love this podcast. It's relatively light and conversational but is at the same time clear and engaging. I love the personalities of Steven, Helen and Anoush, and I think they are very politically correct around sensitive issues. It's not boring either - there are great jokes and some really beautiful and clever metaphors that I've heard. I love this podcast thankyou guys 👍🏼😄Read full review »

More reviews of The New Statesman podcast
Stephen and Helen present an insightful and in-depth analysis of current events in UK politics which still manages to be lighthearted and engaging. I find their resolutely progressive take on the news to be helpful, without ever straying into blinkered Corbyn love. Ta gang!

Great podcast with good mix of topics, but please sort out the sound levels! Had to massively adjust the volume according to who was speaking and when any music came on.

Excellent political podacst. Helen and Stephen always look at the political news of the week with an imaginative and informative angle. They're also a great double act.Read full review »
