Excellent, and desperately needed
I am so happy to have Brittany Luse back in my podcast feed. She brought such a unique and charming voice to Gimlet when she hosted Sampler, and now she is back and better than ever! Along with her co-host and longtime friend Eric Eddings, the two dive deep into black culture. It's clear from the first few minutes that Brittany and Eric have a wonderful rapport, and that's really what carries the show for me. The first two episodes are fantastic, and I am so excited to hear what future episodes have in store for us. It makes me so happy that Gimlet finally has a podcast that celebrates black culture and diversity, and I think The Nod has the potential to be one of their most popular and important shows to date.Read full review »

Great show. Both chatty and researched/well-developed. It's a carefully constructed show, like all Gimlet shows -- not just two people talking. I love both of their voices (ie, their perspectives). And as someone for whom the show wasn't necessarily made, I feel like I am already learning...Read full review »
