These HBO Max post episode podcast are always a must listen to for me because I love hearing about things that go down behind the scenes. On top that they always bring in some of the cast and ask them about the show and the scenes they do. I love how they asked everyone about Candy and if she...Read full review »

All the episodes in the series were very well done. With great questions and interesting guests that added to the experience of watching the limited series. Except for the first episode. Episode one is puzzling due to Ms Millar’s maniacal laughter after her response to answers from the guests...Read full review »

I enjoyed the podcast.Nancy Miller’s voice is pleasant not like some of the cackling females that drink wine and crack jokes and really stray from the subject. Her laugh is a bit fake and out of place at times. But she does not step on the other persons dialogue nor does she constantly interrupt....Read full review »

Please please please stop hiring this host, particularly for your true crime shows. Her tone is usually out of synch with the people she’s interviewing and it makes for shallow interviews.

Nancy absolutely admires cheating, murdering and baby abandoning Candy and laughs like a hyena about it as if she couldn’t be more proud. She relates to her and because of the lens through which she sees this case and presents it to the listeners as such. Not because the woman murdered was...Read full review »

I really enjoyed this podcast, it was great to here insights from the actors. Hung on to every word just like I did the show. Thank you!

I couldn’t listen!

Ok, so HULU just made this same story but kinda better just a year ago. So why did this get made? And why is the host so awkward and corny. This podcast kinda blows, much like this show. Pass!

NPR
This is so boring. Mostly the host is so boring, awkward, and sounds like she’s fresh out of NPR. Is she from NPR? There’s something so familiarly boring about her voice.

Host is unbearable, but love the in depth look into show.

With so many shows available (and podcasts) I was really grateful to have this in my feed to remind me to watch the show! I loved listening to the podcast after each episode. Very well done!

Love true crime. Love Texas Monthly. Love Elizabeth Olsen. It’s so interesting to hear recaps of the episodes from the people who actually made the show and have real insight, as opposed to critics or commentators who are merely sharing their opinions. Also not sure why there are reviews saying...Read full review »

Can any of you tell me why this funny?

The podcast is interesting (as is the mini series) but Nancy Miller’s misplaced laughter is distracting.

She seemed not to be worried about that baby. The baby could have died.

They say they’re not going to spoil anything, but they fail at it, and HARD. Im super glad I didn’t start listening until I had watched up through Ep 4 because there were heavy spoilers in the first three podcasts. This is the third HBO companion podcast I’ve listened to after Chernobyl and The...Read full review »

When David said he found himself routing for candy. I felt that. I was routing for her and felt for her. This case has so many sides to it. It’s not black and white . Just finished episode 4 waiting for the rest. I’m so invested in this. Thank you for sharing the details of what went into writing...Read full review »

The host laughs too long and loud it’s jarring. I know it’s a dark comedy but it’s not that hilarious. Mostly about the acting process as well which can be dull. I would have liked to know more about the true story.

The podcast is disjointed. Both the podcast and show really paint the victim in a terrible light, calling her scary, etc and bathing the murderer in such a positive light…like she is a feminist.

Really great companion to the show! Great interviews and I like the production style—there are distinct segments that are easier to digest than incredibly long discussions as a lot of podcasts are nowadays. Production seems to be great since you can’t tell if the person being interviewed is doing...Read full review »

…are asked by Nancy Miller! As much as I have been intrigued by the show episodes and the story, I’ve been fascinated by the characters, set design, and dialogue (especially in the awkward moments/situations)! Nancy has brought on some interesting guests so far and asked the questions that she’d...Read full review »

Couldn’t make it through the first episode. Should have been the last.

The first review is right, why do I feel like I have no clue what’s going on but I watched the episode? It’s also very hard to listen to Jesse’s interview, the extremely slow talking and constant swallowing/mouth sounds.

I'm sure it’s a great podcast but you should finish show first if you don't want spoilers. I'm all caught on ep3 so I thought it would be safe. Nope, spoiled. Im sure it’s hard to avoid when discussing this story, so save this for later!Read full review »

And your inflated sense of self-worth for doing this whole release with the podcast and the lofty title. I and a lot of people saw this story on Hulu like 6 months and ago and they did a pretty bang up job of it. I would’ve been happy if the podcast host was like “hey let’s get this out of the...Read full review »

Beautifully produced and a great behind the scenes look at the series. Love the interviews that go along with a gripping story.

My parents did this whole thing. Spousal swapping, then drag the kids to Catechism on weekends. Drink, smoke, Marriage Encounter! Wow! Losers. I did a million times better raising my children. Don’t bother with church.

The listener has no clue what’s going on. The interviewer and two guests are having a class reunion and we, the listener, attended another high school. There is nothing to draw us in. No story, just chatting among folks that know what’s going on but you and I have no clue. Who produced this and...Read full review »
