“I’ve struggled my whole life with my weight. Yo-yo after yo-yo after yo-yo. The best I ever looked was when I was in college as a assistant coach for the men’s soccer program. After that it just went down hill. Married, 3 boys ages 11, 6, 3, I thought my best days were behind me, but I kept pushing for one last try to be fit. I went from 240 (I’m 5’8) down to 205 with diet and exercise, then I got injured, sick and depressed and all of my progress went out the door. I felt lost and I felt like it was over and I wasn’t supposed to be fit at my age. YouTube recommended Funk Roberts, so I gave the channel a chance, listened to the pod and I’ve slowly started believing I can change. Hitting the gym, watching what I eat and getting some confidence back and depression slowly fading. If you’re over 40 looking to get fit, looking for some encouragement or some type of answers, like the Mandalorian... This is the way.”
