Introduction to Radical Self-Care: Defining radical self-care and differentiating it from conventional self-care practices
Listen now
Description
In this episode, we're diving deep into the topic of radical self-care, especially for my fellow human service professionals out there. As we all know, this work can be draining if we aren't pouring back into ourselves. I want to have an honest chat about burnout and how we can shift our mindsets to prioritize our well-being before we get to that point. We'll be talking about setting boundaries to reclaim your time and energy, as well as the importance of rest. I'll be sharing some of my own experiences over the past year and how focusing more on self-care has helped me show up better for my clients and my loved ones. My goal is that by the end of our conversation, you feel motivated and equipped to start practicing some radical self-care techniques of your own.
