“I'm a semi-experienced two-wheeled tourist currently trying to integrate riding more into my life and travel. I wish I'd known about this podcast when I was just starting out touring -- it certainly would have saved me a bunch of headaches and accelerated my learning. Nowadays I listen for Tim's sensible advice, rational opinions about stuff, and general good vibes. Particularly relevant for me lately has been the advice about flying with or transporting my bike. More than anything though, and I say this as someone who tours mostly solo, this podcast has been a bit of a front door to the large community of people who love to set out on two wheeled adventures as much as I do.
I know you pop up in Portland once in a while Tim, but should you ever end up a bit north in Seattle (national hub of Alaska airlines, so bring that bike for cheap!) please give me a shout and we'll go for a ride up here in the great Northwest.

“I live in England and there seems to be nobody in England who creates podcasts about bicycle travel. So when I found the pedalshift podcast. I thought even tho it is American I would give it a listen. And I am still listening to it over a year later because it is so informative and entertaining. 👍”
