“Being a Dickens fan, I was delighted to see the 5 part podCast of "A Christmas Carol" was to be made available. Geoffrey Palmer is an excellent choice of voice for this gloomy novel. Having downloaded part 1, I was very dissapointed to find that the sound has been recorded at a very low level - even with the volume boosted to the maximum extent it remains only just audible in anything other than a quiet living room.
