A Good Listen, spoiled by poor sound
Being a Dickens fan, I was delighted to see the 5 part podCast of "A Christmas Carol" was to be made available. Geoffrey Palmer is an excellent choice of voice for this gloomy novel. Having downloaded part 1, I was very dissapointed to find that the sound has been recorded at a very low level - even with the volume boosted to the maximum extent it remains only just audible in anything other than a quiet living room. I hope they improve things in the later releases.Read full review »

This is the best of the best for anyone who loves reading or really just loves life. The quality of the questions puts most interviews with writers in the shade. Widens my world to understand the lives of people whose lives have been so different to my own.

I loved the idea of the Penguin Podcast, but I've ended my subscription. Why? The quality was so uneven.
