“This podcast does a good job of setting context to this horrific crime, empathetic to the victims, but it is overrun with advertisement. In the second season, of episode 5, first four minutes and fifty-one seconds is ads. Then there are two mid-roll ad sections of at least 2 minutes. The last 4-5 minutes is ads. Practically 1/3 of the podcast is ads. Get a presenting sponsor or reduce your ad reads! It’s almost unlistenable because of this. I just started listening this week, and I’m probably going to stop. This amount of excessive ads is a disservice to the victims and the sponsors. I skip through all of the ads.”
