“I was a full time ceramic artist in Hawaii with a fabulous studio on the ocean. The recession hit us and we ended up leaving Hawaii for Charleston, SC 4 years ago. I moved all of my studio except the huge gas kiln. I had to take a full time job, and though I wanted to work in clay again, we had to rebuild our finances here. The Potter's Cast was my one link to the ceramic world that has been my passion for 20 years. I listened to every podcast, sometimes 2-3 times and each time I did, it kept the flame in me burning. While I still am working full time, I finally found a co-op studio here where I can create again. They only have electric kilns so I have morphed to cone 6 porcelain. Still learning glazes etc. I feel like I have been reborn. Thanks to the Potter's Cast, the flame was never snuffed out.”Read full review »

“Paul is such a great interviewer. He really gets to the nuts and bolts of making a living as a potter. There's so much for anyone working with clay in these casts. Inspirational! It's amazing how many episodes he produces a year with so many talented clay artists. Thanks Paul! You rock!”Read full review »

“Paul is a natural podcast host. In my recent interview I even learned things about myself that Paul was able to pick up on that I hadn't realized.
These podcasts are truly fascinating!”Read full review »
