Informed and in depth
It must be understood this isn't a critical podcast in any shape or form. Instead it is an fascinating insight in the world of screenwriting and the stories behind the stories of the movies. It gives you a new appreciation for the craft.. Jeff is simply a great interviewer, genuinely interested in those he interviews and passionate in his field of work. Although it lacks conflict, (it would be nice to hear Jeff be more honest regarding his personal feelings towards a film sometimes) he is about giving a voice to Oz's behind the curtain and credit where credit is due. The sheer depth of insight is breathtaking and that even with such breadth and length that Jeff manages keeps the pace and intrigue rolling over. Compelling stuff. Make sure you check out his back catalogue at Creative Screenwriting Podcast. Uwe Ball, charlie kaufman and 500 days of summer are great episodes worth digging upRead full review »

The best interviews on the web. I wish I could still listen to the old Creative Screenwriting shows.
