Great that these podcasts will continue
These podcasts are very valuable to anyone who aspires to be involved in the creative process of making a film. These podcasts enable us to hear from those who really are the foundation of the film- the screenwriter. So often the director and lead actor are the ones who get the most accolades and media focus when a film is a hit, but the writer who cracked the story and created those great lines for the actor to say are left in obscurity. These podcasts now bring these creative folks into the spotlight and finally let everyone know that writers are just as intergral to the creation of a film as anyone else involved. I've been listening to these podcasts for a while, and have learned a lot from them. The interview with Peter Jackson & James Cameron from Comicon, as well as the interview with Drew Goddard regarding Cloverfiled, were standouts-- Props to Jeff Goldsmith for keeping this going-Read full review »
