“I remember the 1970s well and had thought 1977 was one of the least eventful of that tumultous decade. However, One Year is reminding me of events that were very important even if they may not have seemed so at the time. I hope there is an episode on the closure of Campbell Works in Youngstown, Ohio in September 1977. However, it was a prelude to the hollowing out of manufacturing in the decades to follow.”
