Seems like it should be better.
The topic of “The Queen” seems extraordinarily compelling, both as the tale of one complicated person and the larger socio-economic questions raised by one small aspect of that person. However, the presentation of the material, at least in podcast form, proved incredibly drab. Josh Levine’s voice is grating and dull, and I often found my mind wandering even though I thought I should be more interested. I will check out the book, which I have to assume is better. And isn’t it the point of this podcast to sell books anyhow?

I understand that the point is to tease the book so that people will purchase it and, theoretically, find all the answers they seek. Well told, researched and produced. A great take on how distortion of facts used by a charismatic bullshitter(Ron Reagan) led to the still unwarranted attack on impoverished people and the social systems designed to help them.
