Great mix of topics over the months/years I have listened to The Quicky. The team makes hard work look easy. I like having the options of the shorter news updates and the longer episodes. Sometimes I want one or the other. Sometimes I want both. Excellent program. Thank you from America.

I listen to this every day and the news headlines seem to always be the ones I am interested in. I definitely recommend the episode from 19 July 25. Such great interviews with Olympians you would never normally here from. Gold!

Donald Trump is more “intelligent “ than this right wing propaganda denying a genocide in Palestine ( because the owners of the network are Jews).

Such good news content and coverage every day

The women of Australia have outgrown the Mamamia podcast network. What was edgy and progressive in 2011 is no longer relevant to any of the women I know. We’ve all grown up, expanded our bubble and are constantly working to make sure our feminism is intersectional and our politics are...Read full review »

Nothing of any substance to listen to hear. No real news, trivial gossip is what it is.

Mamamia’s silence on Palestine is deafening

It’s great to have female driven news but I find there’s no intersectionality, no indigenous affairs and way way too much about the royals. There’s a limp acknowledgement of country at the start with no mention of who’s country they are on. They certainly could do better

The bias in their reporting of the current genocide being perpetrated on Palestinians in Gaza was becoming more and more evident. My theory is that Mamamia knew they couldn’t keep reporting in this way and maintain any credibility and they sure were not willing to report the truth, so instead...Read full review »

It’s like reading New Idea to get ‘the news’. Ignorant, white centric, privileged lens. This media organisation keeps cis white women in their superficial, comfortable place so that no change happens. Especially for minorities. Embarrassing. Would be embarrassing to work at this tabloid company.

I listen to this show everyday. It’s an invaluable part of my morning routine. I love how the topics are varied and have original thoughts. I really like when they go into further detail on a news story that I haven’t wrapped my head around.

This show used to be better now it’s really a lot of advertising and not a lot of “deep dives”

Why did “The Quicky” decide to go from reporting ( 5-10min segments) about Important News topics in Australia and around the World, to now predominantly focusing heavily on sensationalist pop culture tie bits!? I use to love listening and was a Stan from the beginning but now I am out. Mia...Read full review »

I used to like most of the stories on The Quicky, but over the past month or two there’s been a really big shift in the stories they cover. I suppose this means I’m no longer part of their target demographic. And that’s okay. If you’re looking to escape the news and are interested in deep dives...Read full review »

I thought this was supposed to be a show that helped listeners get across the news with deep dives on issues that are actually important. A 20 minute “news” podast on how Taylor Swift is infinitely linked to the number 13 , is about as deep as a puddle. If you want to get worked up over numbers,...Read full review »

Dear Mamamia. Your lacklustre ‘advertising-disguised-as-journalism’ content ain’t it. And please stop referring to it as ‘war’ between Israel vs Hamas. It is Israel’s genocide against Palestine. Words matter. Unsubscribed.
Panda7139 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/02/24
This app was based on listening to the latest news in a short time and now the producers have switched to providing 15-20 minutes of terrible stories. Consider this more of an apprentice journalist show now, the news is limited and stores are simply uninformative.

Love The Quicky, love Claire Murphy but, too many adverts! 7 adverts wrapped around an 18 minute podcast is too much, and would put me off listening to future episodes.
Aussie Hales via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 01/15/24
A Zionist mouthpiece that washes a genocide down to be palatable to the sensibilities of privileged white people and Zionists. It’d be better if you stopped discussing it all together.

The Quicky is my favourite daily news podcast. Quick is just what this busy mum needs. I also really enjoy the deep dives and the wide variety. TBH though, I’d listen to Claire Murphy talk about anything!

Using the same GP again to present just one view on these medications. His language was at times appalling and potentially triggering and traumatising for people with body image issues. Why do you not cast the net wider for a range of opinions from a range of professionals on this issue?...Read full review »

As a new subscriber to Mamamia I want to provide some feedback. I tried to listen to The Quicky for the first time but that track that plays under the news is just awful. It’s distracting and unnecessary.

How one sided could you have been. Continue to mention October 7 , hostages - the hostages are telling Netanyahu he’s a war creep. And yet you manage to change it around like all American and Australian news. We don’t need to go back , no sides need to be taken just stop wiping out whole towns...Read full review »

I have been a listener for many years now and the quicky is on my top list of podcast I always go to. Claire Murphy is a great journalist, demonstrating depth, research, different perspectives and interesting interviews. However when she is replaced by Elfy Scott, it just sounds like someone is reading out a newspaper article. Except they mispronounce words. And don’t understand the topic.
