“None of the wit, wonky independent spirit or enthusiasm that makes podcasts like Eggchasers or Football Ramble worthwhile. We want to feel like we are sitting in on a relaxed, playful conversation with friends. No-one wants to be friends with Stephen Jones; who has long bragged and thrown abuse at anyone who dares disagree with him on Twitter. The price he will pay is that the same audience who may have politely challenged him on that platform, and been belittled and/or blocked - will probably use these reviews as their right-to-reply. He is not likeable enough for this format - so this does not work. Sonny.”
