“Poor quality discussion, even though usually a lot of contributors which could be good and add value, however mainly it's distracted from that by Stephen Jones giving a pointlessly controversial statement without supporting discussion on why. The others try to a limited extent to counter this but usually only to a limited degree. This leads to little informative discussion and just more of Stephen Jones saying how people won't be allowed back onto his podcast.
Maybe this was a quality podcast previously but it's been outclassed by others out there now such as Eggchasers and Rugby Union Weekly from the BBC for decent rugby analysis. If you're also looking for characters from the rugby ecosystem then the rugby podcast and flats and shanks feature far better individual characters who are closer to the game and not just out to add a tick box to the Times multi-channel strategy.”Read full review »
