“Like many of the reviews have mentioned, Stephen Jones ruins what could be a halfway decent discussion on rugby events that holds it own without trying to compete with the (often cringey) clubhouse-level "bantz" of Eggchasers, Flats & Shanks and Hamilton & Goode's pods.
If he's there as a "colour" pundit, someone to offer the contrarian views of a resident curmudgeon, then the joke wears thin very quickly. He seems to have little awareness of any rugby beyond Twickenham and his beloved AP and often displays his ignorance by skewing the facts to suit his narrative.
